Happy birthday to… us!

Thanks for all the good times over the last 50 themes.

Together we’ve built this little fun run club from scratch, cheering each other on virtually to complete the weekly run challenges. Thanks for taking the leap of faith and being brave enough to try something new, and different!

We all have our own reasons for running. My personal highlights over the last year include the thousands of run pics from around the world, the kind DMs from runners who have got their mojo back, people wearing Joy Runs t-shirts with pride, and having a theme sponsored by Nike. Then there’s an extra special mention to the many new run pals met along the way. Thank you!

Now for some news: A mini break 🏖️

Joy Runs is having a little holiday break. All good though – it’s to reflect and grow. 

The 50 Joy Runs so far has given me lots to think about. Consider it the warm up.

Expect more joy, more giveaways, more community love, and a few surprises.

Pressing pause will free up some time to actually make those ideas happen.
